Last fall we made a custom shift knob from a Jurassic Park resin souvenir that was shipped to us, with the shift pattern fully engraved into the top. Since there was so much interest in doing a run of these, we decided to secure a supply of them and setup a Kickstarter style pre-order in order to get all the parts and materials needed to do a run.
Normally we use all USA made materials in our products, but a domestic supply for these has not been found in months of looking, so yes, the parts we are modifying and engraving are imported (sorry about that). We expect to take delivery in mid-June 2026, and it will take a few weeks to do the run.
Each one will be engraved with your shift pattern, and set-up for standard YJ / TJ / XJ threading (M10×1.50). We are working on an adapter for manual JK/JKU, and if there is enough interest, an adapter for older automatic Jeeps (like the XJ, ZJ, and TJ) with a button release for safety. The shift knob will be internally threaded, and supplied with a jam nut for orientation. And for this first batch, you will get a free YJ JP themed keychain made on one of our officially licensed wooden keychains.
Shift knobs will be $85, with the option to add a custom JP Fleet number to the rear facing portion, in the appropriate screen used font for only $35. Better yet, the keychain will have the same number! And, if you have suggestions or requests, we are open to changes on the artwork, working with the community.
If you choose Reservation, we will send an email invoice for the remainder of the price when we are beginning production and have a shipping timeline.
